Two Ways to Schedule Hands-On With SofTap
Artists complete hands-on training either at SofTap Headquarters or with an approved SofTap Mentor or Instructor.
Both paths follow the same standards.

Do I need to complete the SofTap Academy first?
Some hands-on training is designed for Academy students, while other sessions are open to experienced PMU artists.
Can I complete hands-on training at my own pace?
Maybe. This will depend on your Mentor or Instructor's schedule. Sessions may be scheduled over time based on availability and program requirements.
Are live models required?
Yes. Hands-on training involves working on live models under supervision, this is where the magic happens!
Is this training required for certification?
Hands-on training is required for full SofTap Academy certification, and is highly recommended for experienced PMU artists.
Hands-on training is extremely important, but it isn’t about proving yourself.
It’s about learning, and becoming comfortable doing permanent cosmetics on real clients — with our support.
