The SofTap Eyebrow Academy is a 6-week hybrid training program focused exclusively on permanent makeup eyebrows. This program is designed to build strong technical foundations, artistic confidence, and real-world readiness for professional PMU artists.
Students complete structured online coursework followed by supervised hands-on training with an approved SofTap mentor to qualify for certification.
No prior permanent makeup experience is required.
We include a robust practice kit with all of the needles, pigments, design tools, and application tools you will need to follow along with us.
The SofTap Academy is not your typical PMU program - it is an intense, full-on, professional training based on 40 years of industry knowledge.
This program is designed for people who want real skill and real feedback so they feel ready to step into the world of SofTap permanent makeup. We're not about the shortcuts or surface-level certifications.

To complete SofTap certification, students must complete supervised hands-on training with an approved SofTap mentor or instructor.

The SofTap Academy was designed to give brand new PMU artists, as well as already experienced PMU artists, the opportunity to get a quality education at an affordable rate.
Machine permanent cosmetic artists have found the Academy to be extremely informative and a great way to jump into the SofTap Hand Method while also reinforcing all the fundamental knowledge they already have.
No. The Brow Academy is designed for beginners and cross-over artists.
No. Hands-on training is required, but purchased and scheduled separately. You will pay an additional fee for your supervised model sessions with your mentor.
This program is designed to teach specifically the SofTap Hand Method for permanent makeup. You will not learn machine techniques in this program; however, the fundamentals of the tattooing process cross-over from hand method to machine.
Content may be accessed indefinitely. We believe that you should have your materials available to you throughout your career, so you may reference them when needed.
No. You may complete one or more of the academies depending on your personal needs and goals.
You will need to travel to complete your hands-on training. We have many wonderful mentors that can schedule full days of models so that you can complete your practical training in 2-5 days.
We will work with you to pass! Even if you don't succeed at first, we will continue to support you so that you can complete your coursework and pass the final.
